At our January meeting (Monday 16th, 7PM, Baptist Church) , we are privileged to once again have Dr Dylan Foster Evans talk to the society. Dylan is Head of Welsh Studies at Cardiff University. The title for his talk is 'Tywyn and the Welsh Eisteddfodic tradition'. Dylan will be present his talk in-person rather than via Zoom. St Cadfan's church and wells and some of the early lords of Ynysymaengwyn were celebrated in medieval times, so Tywyn has been very much on the bardic map at several times in its long history. At Tywyn High School that tradition continues.
